BANNER RAISING CEREMONY
Our school will be hosting its first every banner raising ceremony at 2:30pm on Tuesday June 7th. This is in celebration of our 1st and 3rd place finished at CISVA basketball and volleyball Championships. Matt LeChascheur, Head Coach at Holy Cross, along with some former alumni will be the guest speakers. The event is open to everyone, so please consider arriving a little early on that day and watch as we unveil what we hope to be the start of many more championships in the future for our school.
SPIRIT WEEK
Spirit Week is occurs twice a year – once just before Christmas Break and again during the week of Fun Day. Spirit Week is a week long celebration of a variety of topics to help foster school spirit and to create memories and excitement at school. Participation is voluntary and all events are organized and ran by Student Council with direction and support from Mr. van der Pauw.
This week the students will enjoy a variety of games and the ability to come to school in non-uniform all week. We hope that the topics are engaging and fun for your child. The week caps off with our annual Fun Day. Reminder that Fun Day ends at 12:15pm. Please make arrangements to pick up your child at this time. Singers Club will be closed after school on this day.
SPORTS/FUN DAY
This year’s theme for the Sports/Fun is Rio Olympics. Dismissal will be at 12:15pm (it was incorrectly posted in one area as 1pm. Please make note that the correct time is 12:15pm dismissal).
Your child has been assigned a country as part of the Fun Day festivities. These countries were selected at random and we ask that you have your child dressed in the colours of their flags.
