VIRTUE OF THE MONTH
For the month of January, the school will be focusing on the virtue of faithfulness. When we think of being faithful we tend to think of being loyal, true and constant. Faithfulness demands fidelity to each other and to God. Faith is not something we have, but something that we are in, much like a relationship. Therefore, to practice faithfulness is similar to developing a relationship – you have to give it time and attention. Through out the month of January, we will bring this idea to our students and help them develop a deeper faithful life lived in the presence of God.

NEW FAMILY INFORMATION NIGHT AND OPEN HO– USE
We are currently accepting applications for all grades in the school. Word of mouth is the best advertisement we can have for the school. With that being said, if you own a business or know of a business that could put up a poster advertising the Open House, we will have copies in the office for you to pick up (they will also be available at the AGM). We also have personal invitations made to give out if you know of a family that you believe would benefit from attending our school.
New families are encouraged to attend the New Family Information Night on January 28th from 7pm – 8pm in the school library. Our Open House will be on Sunday January 31st from 9:30am (after Mass) to 1pm. All are welcome!
Call for Volunteers
Mr. and Mrs. Caindec have made arrangements with a prominent bakery in Richmond to sell fresh bread by donation to families in our school and parish communities. In order to make this work they are in need of volunteers (2 preferably) who can pick up the fresh bread in Richmond on Friday evenings and sell it on Saturday’s after mass. If this interests you and you are able to help out or want to find out more information, please contact Claire and Mark Caindec at ckcaindec@yahoo.com.
